He works as a storyboard illustrator for companies such as Aardman and BBC. He has worked in the industry for over 9 years.

I now know the steps taken while creating a storyboard and how to pitch ideas to companies using storyboards.

I now know more about the industry in how to help get your ideas across to companies.

It does help think more about potential careers in this field, since we were told what helps be a good illustrator.

Yes I know more about opportunities and facilities available to me if I choose to pursue a career of this type.

I now understand the role which would help me work with others in the same job.

No it has not helped me with current projects.

I have learnt how to put together a basic storyboard and how to portray ideas using one.

Self Evaluation

Since beginning these activities I have gained much more knowledge regarding opportunities during and after college, creating a brand identity, having a good digital profile (social media accounts and websites etc.) and constructing a good portfolio to show to future employers. Research into Future Options - At the start of the unit, my initial thoughts for after college were to try and find a job in a media company as I had no intentions of continuing on to University. Since I started by researching opportunities in media after finishing college and moving into either the world of work to continuing in education. Website Designs - Rough Edits

I have worked on rough edits for how I would like my website to laid out. I want to have 4 pages being Home, Work, Contact and About. This is the rough design that I have for my Home page of the website. I have places my logo in the top left corner aside where the buttons will be to direct you to the other pages. When on any of the pages, I want the buttons to have an outline to show which page you are on. The colour scheme of the website, I have chose it to be the same as one of the business car designs I made with the colours being blue, green. white and black. Since I don't want the website to be bland, I have used the same sort of style that I used for my business cards with the coloured lines which span across the screen from one point. Personally I think that using the same type of design/layout as my business cards will help make the website stand out that little bit more while also having continuity with my other designs.
