Self Evaluation

Since beginning these activities I have gained much more knowledge regarding opportunities during and after college, creating a brand identity, having a good digital profile (social media accounts and websites etc.) and constructing a good portfolio to show to future employers. Research into Future Options - At the start of the unit, my initial thoughts for after college were to try and find a job in a media company as I had no intentions of continuing on to University. Since I started by researching opportunities in media after finishing college and moving into either the world of work to continuing in education. I also spoke about one of my media inspirations, who is Quentin Tarantino. From my research into future options in either education or a career, I have learned about the number of roles available in a media career, and how far you are able to progress from starting as a runner in any media company. Show Reel Examples and Evaluation

A show reel is a short video containing someone's work to show to potential future employers as a more visual portfolio, with the contents of the video being those of photography pieces, solo or group video projects and other pieces of content they were involved in.
